This section of the site was created to gather questions for the Alden Township meeting that took place on July 2, 2009. I am leaving up for now just in case anyone should want to still refer to it for some reason. If you post in here, I will do my best to answer your question.

1. When do you anticipate starting construction?
2. When can I expect to be able to start negotiations for the property you want to acquire? At that time, will you FINALLY be willing to discuss other concerns such as drainage, documentation to prove your existing ROW, providing alternate access to my property and noise abatement?
3. I understand the ComEd will be moving their poles for this project. When will you know which poles will be moved and where they will be put?
MCDOT now states that construction on the Alden Bridge project will begin on March 1, 2010. We have been told by residents that the first thing to go will be the beautiful, mature tree canopy that is such an integral part of Alden’s character. All “objects” within MCDOTs right of way on the project are subject to removal. All I can say is what a shame.
